If you’ve been following the re-run of Brookside episodes released each week, then you may be excited to know that the two spin-offs made during the 1980’s have also been uploaded to the streaming service.
Damon and Debbie, the three part series was the first spin-off from the show featuring Damon Grant and the love of his life Debbie McGrath running away from both of their disapproving parents to York. As well as getting mixed up with various characters, the series ends on dramatic climax that changed the soap forever.

The second spin-off South was produced as part of The English Programme for Thames Television, the only episodes not to be made by Channel 4 or Mersey TV.
Originally a two-parter, the storyline focuses on Tracy Corkhill and her boyfriend Jamie going away from Liverpool (there’s a theme here!) and heading to London to search for new opportunities. It’s now been added to STV player as a single episode.
